My friends and I had to travel the world looking for these things called "memory circles." They held memories of... the past in them, hence the name. They were usually located in places people worshiped, like the big cathedral in Naos or the tombs in Ashihara -- since the people of that culture revered their ancestors instead of gods, like the rest of the world. An island called Galpos had ruins in the middle of the jungle, where people made offerings to the dragon Vrtra, and the city I was born in, Regnum, had caverns that were made to worship... I really don't know, exactly. Maybe gods in general, although why it'd have to be all the way down there I can't say. Tenos, a city all the way up north that was leading in the steam industry, had theirs not too far away in something called the Celestial Garden. It was very lovely, but cold. On the opposite side of things, there was one in Garam, an incredibly hot country whose people worshiped the god of the forge, Vulcan, in a massive volcano their town was at the base of.
