Well, there's a difference between already being dead and having a whole future ahead of you, only to die before you get to experience it.

Granted, if we argue that every version of someone here comes from some branched off timeline, that makes things a little less complicated, I guess. And frankly, I can't say it bothers me that we just get sent to a PokéCenter, but I'm in no hurry to leave.
