Oh, of course-but why would whatever is responsible for preventing our deaths bother resurrecting people who have already died again if it were purely related to keeping timelines from being damaged? I really doubt it's out of some sort of cosmic sense of fairness, given how fickle this place can be at times.

Well, I'll admit, there are a few more things I want to learn before I return to my own world, so I suppose that's something of a plus.
