and the decorations are pretty intense

A gingerbread village? Well, I'll admit I'm a bit curious about that, particularly in terms of how you actually plan to eat all of that. Perhaps just... take a few pictures so I can satisfy my curiosity, I suppose.

[ There is indeed a huge gingerbread village spanning the entire length and width of John and Rose's kitchen table. This thing has had an incredible amount of work gone into it, clearly.

...There also appears to be some sort of gingerbread godzilla, and several decimated houses and a few gingerbread people missing limbs. There is decorative red frosting as blood for their wounds.
