Well, I do have to admit, I am considering taking you up on your offer. After all, it does sound quite interesting... and really, I have no qualms about offering a bit of assistance in your research myself.

Well, why not? I've been meaning to evolve my Haunter, Dusclops, and Slowpoke, but I haven't had the opportunity to trade any of them, so this is a perfect opportunity.

How excellent! Those are all evolutions I don't currently have data on.

Would you be willing to come into town for this? You're going to have to in order for me to record their evolutions in the machine. Besides, you wouldn't get the full experience of this technology without seeing it first-hand.

Ah, I don't mind it at all. Maybe if there was a blizzard of some sort I'd mind, but given that it isn't terrible out at the moment, it shouldn't be a problem.

[Time has passed, and Kayneth is in town! After receiving Kayneth's call, Dist slips out of the base to pick him up from the department store. It's a good thing enough time has gone by that no one recognizes him from the PokeCenter fiasco half a year ago. ...Okay maybe the PokeCenter workers would, so he just avoids that place like the plague. Good thing the base can cover him in place of one!

Once inside, he gazes around the large entrance way for Kayneth. It doesn't take long to spot him, so he quickly makes his way over, giving a small wave so Kayneth notices him. Not that he's conspicuous at all with his white hair and makeup or anything, but hey. At least he's not dressed ridiculously today.]

Hello, Kayneth. It's good to see you in person again. It has been far too long if I must say so.

[Thank god for that Altaria with Fly bred onto it. What would have probably been something of a pain under most circumstances was a fairly easy flight this time around.

Anyway, after a quick rest stop and PokeGear call at the Pokemon Center, Kayneth heads off to the department store, looking as put together as ever --- though, admittedly, in slightly simpler clothes than usual. Dist is possibly one of the least difficult people to find under most circumstances, so Kayneth picks him out fairly quickly.]

I agree wholeheartedly --- and I'm glad it's under far better circumstances. Then again, I'm not sure if we could consider that last encounter to be "in person."

Mmm, if we didn't, then it truly would have been ages since our last encounter. [It was in April or something, right? Jeez...] Regardless, I agree that the circumstances are far more favorable this time.

You really must visit Ecruteak when the weather's better, at least. It's far superior, though I suppose it lacks a certain... something.

What about it makes it superior to Goldenrod? All I know about it is it's smaller and more historical in culture and appearance.

Well, in my opinion, those are the two things that cause it to appeal to me. That, and it really is a beautiful city. I can't say I've been wanting for artistic inspiration during my time here, but Ecruteak certainly added a bit more to it, I'd say.
