Do you have any preference about what we see? There's a traditional dance at the Kimono Girls' theater, a musical, and I think a standard drama?

What's the musical? I'll admit, I wouldn't object to something a little lighter, but I wouldn't want it to be something silly.

An adaptation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist. Or the Johto equivalent of it, I suppose; the summary seemed familiar enough.

Well, I can't abide Dickens, so I'm going to have to ask about the drama.

What's your objection to Dickens?

Let's just say that if I'm going to be preached at by someone who's being paid by the word, I'd much rather have it interrupted by, say, dissertations on the Napoleonic War and the sewers of Paris than get it for pages straight.

It's a stage adaptation, and a musical besides. If anything, you'll be sung at.

And yet, now all I'll be able to think during the whole thing is that I'd still rather be watching Les Miserables.

If only. I wouldn't mind a good show of Les Miserables, either, but beggars can't be choosers.

Or we could see the drama. Don't tell me, it's The Wingull or... something along those lines?

I didn't recognize the name, but given the summary I read, it sounds like it's some sort of adaptation of Faust.

...actually, I'm rather curious about what that would be like in this world. I certainly wouldn't mind going to see that at all.

That one's set to run Thursday through Sunday. Is there a day you'd like best?

I think I'd favor Friday for that sort of thing. It is in the evening, right?
