Well, it's certainly been an odd few weeks, hasn't it? Some things far more odd than others, of course, but that's simply par for the course here. Nevertheless, it does seem like the excitement has calmed down a bit, so I believe it's a perfect time for me to do some research.

I would, of course, ask you all for assistance in this, but it's not as though you'll go uncompensated for it.

I have quite a few Pokemon eggs on my hands, you see, and I'm quite interested in the results of my current breeding pairs. If you're willing to give me a brief report on the Pokemon you've bought once they hatch, then I'm willing to let you name your price --- to a certain extent, of course.

Furthermore, I have trained all these Pokemon, so if you'd like advice on what you might be dealing with, I'll be quite happy to provide you with the details.

I certainly appreciate it. Natu and its evolution Xatu have proven fairly useful, and I'm rather interested in seeing what the particular breeding pair I went with results in.

I'm aware that Natu and Xatu are both Psychic types.

What can you tell me about them?

They're also part Flying as well, which gives them an advantage over Bugs that not many Psychic-types have. Also, if mine is any indication, they're not terribly difficult to train, though there are always exceptions... but staring off into the distance rather than causing trouble seems to be a species characteristic, if the Pokedex entries are anything to go by. Supposedly, Xatu can see the past and the future at the same time, but I'm not sure if that's a legend or if it's true. It can be difficult to tell, sometimes.

I see. I am still getting used to the concept of dual types.

I know that Psychic Pokemon can communicate with their trainers, both from what I've been told and personal experience with my own. Perhaps it's as simple as just asking the Pokemon themselves if that's something they can do.

They can be a bit difficult to get used to at first, since they make things a bit more complicated.

Regardless, that solution is only really going to work if your Pokemon isn't senselessly cryptic about it, like mine is.

Well, if I can get any information from mine, I will tell you what they say as well as how they perform.

Well, hopefully it isn't an inherited trait, then. Honestly, after discussing this, I'm almost more interested in the personality than the moves.

I think the ideal would be the same calm temperament but more forthcoming, but things are rarely ever ideal.
