Man, this would probably be one of the social links with the quickest meeting-to-broken time ever. Issei left a pretty awful impression when he first met Kayneth, and their relationship hasn't improved at all, given that when they meet most of their interactions tend to be jabs at one another. To Kayneth, Issei is just some asshole kid who's one of Diarmuid's perceived whiteknights, because clearly we are getting into RP wank territory here. They did have a hatemance for an event, so I guess that counts for something...? But, well, they both felt kind of sick about it afterward...

She's the only woman he's ever loved, even if it's for kind of awful reasons (PRESTIGE). With that said, their relationship is pretty dysfunctional. Sola has Kayneth whipped (even moreso now that she's shown up missing a hand), and he doesn't exactly like that. Nor does he like the implications that she doesn't actually love him. And, well... he doesn't really get her all that well... but he does care. A lot more than he should, by mage standards. Ahh, this won't end well at all...
