[WELL IF IT ISN'T A NICE DAY IN ECRUTEAK CITY! The feed opens up to Kayneth bedecked in a fancy short-sleeved shirt and sitting in a lawnchair with a glass of champagne, a (finally) nice and well maintained lawn in view... though, there are some spots where it looks like grass and flowerbeds and whatnot have only been put in recently.

Well, let's not dwell on Kayneth's gardening history for now, for he is, of course, going to talk at the camera, because of course he is.]

Well, it's certainly been an odd few weeks, hasn't it? Some things far more odd than others, of course, but that's simply par for the course here. Nevertheless, it does seem like the excitement has calmed down a bit, so I believe it's a perfect time for me to do some research.

I would, of course, ask you all for assistance in this, but it's not as though you'll go uncompensated for it.

I have quite a few Pokemon eggs on my hands, you see, and I'm quite interested in the results of my current breeding pairs. If you're willing to give me a brief report on the Pokemon you've bought once they hatch, then I'm willing to let you name your price --- to a certain extent, of course.

Furthermore, I have trained all these Pokemon, so if you'd like advice on what you might be dealing with, I'll be quite happy to provide you with the details.

What kind of Pokemon is Archen?

[Naturally, as a fellow gardener, she would be drawn to grass types. The moment that she sees Petilil's name, her interest is piqued; it sounds close to the word, petal, after all.]

Excuse me, would you mind telling me more about Petilil? I... I wouldn't mind taking care of it, and if it's regular updates that you want, I wouldn't mind doing that either...

Archer is in one of those very plain rooms in the Team Rocket base, wearing the standard Amestrian military uniform and looking as smug as usual.]

What sort of information are you looking for in your reports?

That would be a Ghost-type Pokemon, and it should have some interesting moves to it. I unfortunately don't have an unevolved one on me, but...

[He'll beckon his Banette over, in all its creepy doll glory!]

This is its evolved form, Banette. Shuppet is a little more simplistic looking, but it's not too difficult to raise, especially with the extra moves you'll likely be getting.

Mostly what moves they hatch with, as I expect I can predict most of the moves they'll have but there may end up being a few surprises.

Aside from that, personality and any other quirks you may notice would be helpful, even if I'm not sure if anything in particular contributes to those factors.

[Admittedly, Kayneth only took up gardening in Johto, but he's gotten a little fond of making his yard aesthetically pleasing!

Petilil is a Grass-type Pokemon that's a bit weighted to status effects. It evolves into Lilligant via a Sun Stone, and I can actually show that one off to you right now.

Let me just call her over, then...

They're really quite elegant, aren't they? I suppose the name reflects that, but in any case, I'd definitely recommend them.

I certainly appreciate it. Natu and its evolution Xatu have proven fairly useful, and I'm rather interested in seeing what the particular breeding pair I went with results in.

Archen is actually one of my more unusual Pokemon due to the fact the species went extinct several million years ago and no longer truly exists in the wild.

There have been ways to revive fossils... somehow, though I received mine as an egg through some sort of strange happening. As an extinct bird Pokemon, he's rock/flying and is somewhere between a reptile and a bird --- moreso before evolving. Archeops seems to simply be a fluffy raptor to me.

I'm aware that Natu and Xatu are both Psychic types.

What can you tell me about them?

Huh. That's pretty cool, actually.

I guess they're not really extinct anymore though if you have one, right?

That sounds easy enough. I think I could write up something for a Houndour egg easily enough. It'll give me something to do.

Basic things, really. I'm looking for what moves they hatch with, as while I feel as though I can predict most things I'd like to know if there are any surprises.

Along with that... temperament, any unusual quirks, that sort of thing. If you wish to provide ongoing reports, that's perfectly fine... but I would accept a one-time thing, as well.

That sounds excellent. It's good to see someone interested in studying all of this.

What can you tell me about Sigilyph? Besides its... bizarre appearance, is it a powerful Psychic-type?

Oh my, you're right! It is a rather lovely Pokémon. ...How much would you like for an egg? After seeing it, it would be wrong of me not to purchase one.

I definitely would recommend them. I've set their price at P400, though if you're willing to give me a report on personality and any quirks you might notice, I'll be willing to dock the price as low as 300.

Oh, of course! I would be more than willing to report to you. Do you have a certain period of time you would like to receive them?

They're also part Flying as well, which gives them an advantage over Bugs that not many Psychic-types have. Also, if mine is any indication, they're not terribly difficult to train, though there are always exceptions... but staring off into the distance rather than causing trouble seems to be a species characteristic, if the Pokedex entries are anything to go by. Supposedly, Xatu can see the past and the future at the same time, but I'm not sure if that's a legend or if it's true. It can be difficult to tell, sometimes.

Hah, true. They are extinct in the wild, which... their Ability likely contributed to, quite honestly.

Though, oddly enough, this place apparently has the means to bring back several kinds of long-extinct Pokemon. I have two more that I haven't trained much yet, but I'm rather intrigued to see what they're like.

Well, it's not like the gym challenges are more interesting than working out the real mysteries that exist here.

But in any case, Sigilyph is fairly powerful, and while it isn't the most versatile it's certainly very good on the offense. Mine has the ability Magic Guard, which means that she won't be harmed by anything but direct attacks.

What, getting bored with this place already?

They're both Ghost and Fire type, which I believe is rather unique. They're also fairly powerful when fully evolved into Chandelure, though their offensive power is somewhat counterbalanced by being a bit fragile.

I would also suggest not training them while ill or injured, as that would be... unwise. I would recommend them despite that, of course.
