Oh, sure, sure. Might as well be comfortable. [ He starts heading back on over to Appa, giving him a rough scratch on the side before he starts climbing back up. ] So is it weird being an animal? You know, the extra legs and the fur? Or the... lack of legs and scales?
Honestly, the fur is probably the best part of it is the fur, given how cold it's been. Also, I killed a deer before this... mess happened, and I've at least been able to survive on that for much longer than I would have been able to as a human.
Huh. At least you had that on your side. I'm not a big surviving as an animal expert or anything, but it sounds like you lucked out a little! A little warmth for winter and an easier way to start traveling.
...that's a rather sunny way of thinking about it. I suppose it could always get worse, and I'm rather lucky that things got better for me before that could happen...
