I was wondering about that, as well... [Komaeda frowns thoughtfully.] If this world is supposed to be 'different', then what are the odds that the people here would just happen to build a similar palace?

Or perhaps someone who came from France -- the original France -- arrived here, and was responsible for the creation of that palace in Versailles' image.
