Four or five years? In that case, you're probably right; it's not likely that something like that was constructed within the last few years. [Not impossible, though.]

And... I noticed the geographical resemblance to Japan, as well. [Back home, the RBY games were almost certainly made so that the Pokémon world Kanto resembled its real-life counterpart. If this world operated on the exact same logic, then it makes sense to have an alternate France. But that would also imply that one entity created this entire world -- a deity. He can't help but wonder how much influence the Pokémon gods have outside of their little universe...]

You know, at home, there was a video game focused around traveling Kanto. Obviously, it was specifically designed to resemble the real Kanto. Then in this world, is it possible that someone or something specifically designed these other areas as well?

[There's a pause, and then Komaeda sighs, ducking his head in shame.]

That sounded ridiculous.
