The first time it cuts in, it's possible to hear the sound of crumbling rock and the sound of someone who may or may not have just sprained his ankle. Also a... Wooper...

I would presume that at least someone here has experience with the Ruins of Alph, so I want to know any important details. Has the location been mapped out to any degree? I have already come to the conclusion that the puzzles are to be approached with caution, but if they have any other properties, I'd certainly like to hear about them.

Unfortunately I don't have any information to offer in regards to the Ruins. Have you been exploring them for very long? What happened?

...it sounds as though this area is more difficult to navigate than you assumed.

[His tone is admittedly somewhere between facepalming and "Oh god, I told you so," but we're not getting into that right now.]

I'm not sure if they've been mapped, but I did work out what the phrases say in the chambers beneath the puzzles. They're written in some strange language... and apparently, strange Pokemon live there, but they must be pretty shy since I didn't see any in the actual ruins part. There are plenty of Natu and such above ground, of course. Oh, and also -- the ground kind of drops out from beneath you when you complete one of the puzzles, so you should be careful. It isn't a really long fall, but it's still bruising.
