002 [VOICE/TEXT]

[VOICE]

[It seems as though someone's Pokegear is malfunctioning! Well it's not like that never happens, right? The audio feed seems to be cutting in and out. The first time it cuts in, it's possible to hear the sound of crumbling rock and the sound of someone who may or may not have just sprained his ankle. Also a... Wooper...

...the second time it cuts in, though, a highly annoyed (and somewhat pained) voice can be heard.]

-even believe this. This place is such a-

[And, possibly as a convenient censor, the feed cuts off again, though it resumes fairly quickly.]

-had such bad luck. This never would have happened-

[aaaand it cuts out again. Of course, a moment or so after that point, it switches to text.]

[TEXT]

I would presume that at least someone here has experience with the Ruins of Alph, so I want to know any important details. Has the location been mapped out to any degree? [...GOD, HE HAS NO IDEA, DOES HE...]

[...so basically, you've managed to maim yourself within the first ten minutes. Lovely.

As it stands, if you'd pointed out that it resembles the underside of a Kabuto, that likely wouldn't have gotten you very far, because to be blunt Tokiomi is experiencing a fair amount of "lol what's a Kabuto" himself.]

...give me a moment, then.

[Okay, this shouldn't be too difficult, honestly, especially with Kayneth more or less providing the GOOD LORD WHAT THE HELL IS THE FLOOR IN THIS PLACE]

............

[You don't mind if he breaks that composure and elegance for a second there, do you? Because whatever just left his mouth under his breath was made of neither.

Ahem. Right.]

That was ridiculous. Completely ridiculous.

I suppose I should thank you for that.

[It's a bit hard to tell whether that's sarcasm or not, bro; no, seriously, screw these floors.]
