[you know what the network needs more of?
if you said anything other than 'smug douchebags' then you're wrong. as a bonus, this particular smug douchebag seems to have gotten himself a badge, which he seems to be examining skeptically.]
I must say, that was far less difficult than I expected it to be. Are all of the Gym Leaders so easily defeated? I will be sorely disappointed if I'm not forced to actually employ strategic thinking at least once.
[it was a bit rougher than it could have been, but that was only because Hypnosis kept failing to effect Falkner's Pokemon. his luck...]
Of course, I wouldn't bother posting to the network just to discuss my victory. [yes you would.] I would rather discuss the badges themselves-has anyone analyzed them to any extent? I've heard that they have several odd properties, which lead me to wonder if there was anything about their design that would warrant that.

Then that's usually easy enough to challenge the gyms and win against them~! The first couple of ones are really easy, and, especially when you have pokemon above their level. [ Yeah. She knows so much despite never having one gym battle in her life. ]
video
[then again, it's this person
he'll take all this with a grain of salt...]
...I wonder if I should attempt using Pokemon that are closer in level, then. It's barely worth discussing otherwise.
video
[ excuse you this person is a flawfree genius. ]
If you want a challenge, yeah! If you just want to see their shock at being defeated easily, then just go with your strong ones~! There are much more challenging people to battle, anyways.

I do have some Pokemon like that, so it's worth looking into. The routes leading towards Azalea seem to have less powerful Pokemon than the ones leading toward Goldenrod, so I'll keep that in mind while I'm traveling.
video
You should bring your underleveled ones and raise them along the way! When you go to Azalea, make sure you defeat all the trainers in the gym before going to the gym leader! It's good training and it gives you a feel of the environment.

[oh my god Rangiku did you just introduce Kayneth to the concept of EV training]
video
[ she just did yep ]
video
Really? That's very interesting. Of course, it's completely logical that fighting different opponents would give different skills, so I'm surprised it didn't occur to me sooner.
video
I can't believe I noticed it before you! You're super analytical about everything! [ WOO ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR RANGIKU. Her intelligence left just as quickly as it came, too!! ]
video
[why can't you be consistent
NOT SURE IF IDIOT WITH OCCASIONAL FLASHES OF BRILLIANCE OR LAZY-ASS GENIUS]
video
[ WELL, KANYETH, YOU AND CANON HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON. YOU BOTH CAN'T DECIDE WHICH ONE IT IS. I personally lean towards lazy-ass genius since she uses her intelligence to avoid work, but, at the same time, she's just super whimsical so maybe it's occasional flashes of genius or some weird fake dumbness but true laziness thing. ]
video
everything makes sense now]
Yes, that would explain it. I'd assume anyone would catch on to that sort of thing after that long.
video
No, I don't think many people have, actually. Even people that have been here for a good year or two are sometimes surprised by other people's experiences~!
video
make of that what you will]
I suppose that would be the case, particularly given that most people wouldn't be paying enough attention to notice such a thing.
video
Yeah. Most people only seem to care for winning, not how they get there or the results~!
